Role
As an Audio-Visual (AV) Designer in the pre-sales department, your primary responsibility will be to support the sales team by designing and developing comprehensive AV solutions for the clients. You will collaborate closely with the sales team and clients to understand their requirements and provide customized AV solutions tailored to their needs. Your role will involve creating detailed technical proposals, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of the proposed AV solutions.
Responsibilities
- Consultation and Needs Assessment: Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and conduct thorough needs assessments to identify the scope and objectives of AV projects.
- Solution Design: Utilize your expertise in AV technology, industry standards, and best practices to design innovative and efficient AV solutions that align with client requirements. This includes selecting appropriate hardware, software, and system integrations.
- Proposal Development: Create comprehensive technical proposals and quotations that outline the proposed AV solution, including system diagrams, equipment lists, and cost estimates. Clearly communicate the technical aspects of the solution to clients.
- Presentation and Demonstration: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for clients, showcasing the features and benefits of the proposed AV solutions. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including system designs, installation guidelines, and user manuals, to support the implementation team and ensure smooth project execution.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in the AV industry. Provide insights and recommendations to the sales team and clients regarding emerging AV solutions and their potential applications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, engineering, project management, and installation teams, to ensure seamless coordination throughout the pre-sales process. Collaborate with vendors and partners to obtain necessary information and resources for solution design.
