This opportunity is with a global real estate firm provides a comprehensive range of services, including Project Management, Facility Management, Design & Build, Consulting, and Transaction Advisory. Thhe firm has established a strong presence in workspace solutions, particularly in corporate fit-outs and facility management.
They are currently looking for an experienced professional to join their Bangalore office. This individual will be responsible for leading the company’s financial strategy, preparing for an Initial Public Offering (IPO), and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. They will play a critical role in guiding the organization through its transition to a publicly traded entity, managing investor relations, financial planning, and ensuring financial governance. The role also entails leading the company’s fund-raising initiatives.
Responsibilities
IPO Readiness & Execution
- Lead the company’s IPO process, including engaging with banks, law firms, auditors, and other regulatory bodies.
- Lead the financial and operational transformation necessary for a successful IPO.
- Oversee the preparation of prospectus, financial statements, and disclosures required for IPO filings.
- Act as a key liaison between internal leadership, external advisors, investment banks, and institutional investors.
- Manage due diligence processes, financial audits, and investor presentations.
Financial Strategy
- Develop financial models, investor presentations, and strategic plans to ensure a seamless transition to a publicly listed entity.
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s growth and IPO plans.
- Optimize capital structure, including debt and equity financing strategies.
- Provide strategic financial insights to the CEO, board, and executive team.
- Establish financial policies, controls, and reporting mechanisms in compliance with public market standards.
Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, analysts and shareholders.
- Lead investor communication and financial disclosures to the market.
- Represent the company in investor roadshows, earnings calls, and corporate presentations.
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight
- Ensure adherence to public company financial reporting and governance requirements.
- Oversee internal audit and risk management frameworks.
- Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors and regulatory authorities.
Requirements
- The candidate must be a CA.
- Proven track record of leading a company through an IPO process or direct exposure in preparing a company for the IPO, at the very least.
- Established relationships with investment banks, private equity, and institutional investors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach.
- Experience in investor relations, capital markets, and fundraising.
- Strong leadership capabilities to guide and motivate the finance team and collaborate with other departments.
- Decisive enough in managing financial transformations and adapting to changes in the business environment.
- Exposure to Real Estate sector, preferred, not mandatory.
- Exposure to Service sector, preferred, not mandatory.
- Current or prior experience with a big4 will be an added advantage.
