They are currently is seeking an accomplished and visionary Studio Director to lead their design studio, steering creative excellence and driving business impact within the corporate interior design and build space. This pivotal leadership role requires a balance of strategic foresight, creative leadership, and operational discipline. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in managing high-performing design teams and delivering transformative workplace environments aligned with client vision and commercial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Studio Leadership & Team Development – Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team of designers, fostering a collaborative culture rooted in innovation, excellence, and accountability.
- Creative Direction & Design Governance – Drive the creative vision across projects, ensuring design integrity, functionality, and alignment with client brand values and workplace strategies.
- Client Relationship Management – Act as a key client interface—building trusted relationships, understanding corporate workplace needs, and ensuring an exceptional client experience from concept to completion.
- Design Delivery & Project Oversight – Oversee project lifecycles to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, commercially viable solutions, maintaining a strong balance between design aspiration and execution feasibility.
- Business Enablement & Conversion – Collaborate with the business development team to pitch and convert strategic opportunities by presenting compelling design narratives and value-driven proposals.
- Trend Forecasting & Industry Innovation – Stay ahead of workplace trends, sustainability practices, technology integration, and global design innovations to guide future-ready, human-centric workspaces.
- Cross-functional Collaboration – Partner with project management, execution, and client servicing teams to ensure seamless integration of design and build processes, meeting both creative and operational benchmarks.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (Master preferred).
- 12–18 years of experience in interior design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong portfolio of corporate interior projects with proven design excellence.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other design visualization tools.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring design teams.
- Excellent client communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong business acumen with experience in design pitching and project conversion.
- Deep understanding of workplace trends, space planning, and design execution.
