They are renowned for their pioneering township concept and have received numerous awards for their exceptional design and architecture. Additionally, they have multiple luxury projects across South India. They are known for pioneering integrated communities and have developed over 40 million square feet of space in major cities in India.
They are currently looking for a Land Acquisition professional to manage end-to-end land acquisition for new developments in South India. This individual will be responsible for sourcing deals, conducting due diligence and performing feasibility studies. The role involves developing a network of brokers and partners, conducting market analysis and preparing reports for senior management, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end land acquisition transactions for a new plotted development, including sourcing, origination, research, deal evaluation, due diligence, feasibility study and closing
- Conduct commercial, financial and legal due diligence with the help of internal teams.
- Involve in developing business strategies, as well as pursuing and evaluating business opportunities.
- Establish a relevant network of brokers, intermediaries, I banks, channel partners etc. to ensure excellent market intelligence.
- Perform in-depth analyses on market, industry, competitor and business model.
- Prepare management reports and board materials for presentation to the board and investment committee.
- Maintaining strong relationships with key internal constituents (including the legal and compliance team, sales team, project management team and the accounts team) and key external constituents (including investment bankers, audit firms, lawyers, company management and JV partners).
Requirements
- MBA Finance, CA or any related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
- Relevant working experience in real estate/land acquisition in the South India market.
- Resourceful, a keen analytical mind and proficiency in land acquisition is essential.
- Good financial product knowledge and business development experience is required.
- Good teamwork, strong initiative, good business and financial acumen.
- Having hands-on experience in completing acquisition of property or land parcel for development in the South India markets. PAN India exposure will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of local land conversion rules and regulations.
- Excellent network with local brokers, IPCs, channel partners and I-banks.
