They have completed more than 1 million square feet of projects and additionally have more than 3 million square feet of projects in various phases of development.
They are currently looking for an accomplished and visionary business professional to join their leadership team as Chief Business Officer. This role is critical to the company’s growth trajectory and is responsible for driving business strategy, regional operations, investment evaluation, asset performance, and cross-functional excellence across the real estate life cycle. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in large-scale real estate development, strategic and operational leadership, and team transformation. This role demands strong commercial acumen, execution discipline, stakeholder influence and a deep understanding of the Indian real estate landscape.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Develop and lead business strategy aligned with the company’s long-term vision.
- Drive geographical and vertical expansion through targeted investments, partnerships, and joint ventures.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and capital allocation to maximise value creation and business returns.
End-to-End Business Oversight
- Oversee all functions across the real estate development cycle including project identification, feasibility, planning, design, execution, sales, marketing, customer experience, legal, and post-handover services.
- Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary teams across functions and geographies to achieve delivery excellence and financial goals.
Sales & Marketing Oversight
- Provide governance across the sales lifecycle including sales planning, launch strategy, pricing, promotional frameworks and operational controls.
- Ensure robust launch orchestration, inventory and pricing management, and sales process compliance.
- Approve major deal structures, commercial negotiations, and customer resolutions to drive revenue growth.
Investments & Asset Management
- Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and negotiate development deals (profit share, revenue share, outright, and development management models).
- Drive asset performance improvement through strategic project planning, cash flow management, and financial oversight.
- Establish frameworks for risk evaluation, capital protection, and asset health monitoring across the portfolio.
Operational Excellence & Risk Management
- Lead operational reviews, identify performance gaps, and initiate corrective actions across regional businesses.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships including regulatory authorities, partners, investors, and internal governance bodies.
- Spearhead sustainable development and ESG-aligned practices as part of long-term value creation.
People Leadership
- Build, mentor, and retain high-performance teams with a strong ownership culture.
- Create a results-driven environment that emphasises innovation, speed, and quality.
Requirements
- Must hold a degree in General Management or Finance
- Minimum 15 years of experience, must have at least 5 years of experience in leadership roles.
- Proven track record of scaling regional businesses, turning around underperforming portfolios and delivering superior project and financial outcomes.
- Strong expertise in deal-making, risk mitigation, financial modelling and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams across regions and functions.
- Deep understanding of Indian real estate markets and regulatory landscape.
- A strategic thinker with an execution-focused mindset and a strong eye for operational detail.
