They are currently seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead financial operations and drive growth initiatives. This role will involve overseeing all financial functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, spearheading fundraising efforts, and providing strategic financial insights to support business expansion, while collaborating closely with senior leadership to optimise financial performance.
Responsibilities
Financial Management and Compliance
- Oversee the company’s accounting, taxation, and regulatory compliance across all locations.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements, collaborating with both internal and external auditors.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Financial Modelling and MIS
- Develop financial models to support key business decisions, investment strategies, and growth initiatives.
- Lead MIS reporting, providing insights into financial metrics, cost optimisation and profitability.
- Manage cash flow efficiently and optimise working capital.
Fundraising & Investor Relations
- Lead debt and equity fundraising efforts, working closely with banks, NBFCs, and investors.
- Manage relationships with current and potential investors, delivering financial insights and business updates.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for board meetings and investor discussions.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team, ensuring efficient processes and continuous professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategy with business goals.
Requirements
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) required.
- Preferred Experience: Support the alignment of financial and regulatory frameworks for a potential IPO, ensuring compliance with SEBI and other regulatory bodies, while collaborating with investment bankers, legal teams, and auditors to ensure IPO readiness.
- Experience:15+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Expertise: financial management, taxation, and MIS reporting.
