Embarking on a redevelopment endeavour they have ambitious plans to develop large area of prime real estate in the next five years.

They are currently looking for an experienced professional for their finance team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance and providing strategic financial guidance within the real estate sector. This role includes managing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management. Assisting the CFO in creating the Business, Operational and Financial Budget and monitoring the same through timely and accurate data analysis, data collation for effective decision making and aligning the business operations to the set Divisional goals and targets.

Responsibilities

  • Designing business plans for maximizing the profitability & revenue generation and realizing corporate goals.
  • Contribute to the development & achievement of division’s business plans through data analysis of various financial statements and enable the top management to ensure alignment of the Business Operations with the Divisional objectives.
  • Perform gap analysis on the financial performance and evolve strategies for optimization.
  • Oversee the long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the company’s strategic plan.
  • Assist in monitoring the divisions annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets, cash flows and projections are in alignment with the business goals and objectives.
  • Providing insights on future company initiatives which are in turn used for framing company policies, strategies, cost cutting, planning & development etc.
  • Managing the complete planning & management activities for ensuring completion of various types of audits within the time and cost parameters.
  • Monitoring inflow/outflow of funds; taking adequate measures to ensure optimum utilization of available funds towards the accomplishment of organizational objectives.
  • Ensuring the timely delivery and accuracy of highly visible reports & presentations and assist in business operations through identifying trends, opportunities for both business and process improvement thus enabling the division to meet its business & financial objectives.
  • Coordinate with other departments for designing, creating and implementing advance reporting scorecards, dashboards and business intelligence solutions for the top management & business heads.
  • Conducting an analysis for budget vs actual on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Analyse variances on a financial statement level and provide overall analytical reviews of financial statement Fluctuations.

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
  • Minimum 15 Years of experience in real estate development with at least 6-8 years in a leadership role would be ideal.
  • Proven experience in financial management, preferably in real estate.
  • Should have been in CFO position for mid / large size diversified company.
  • Proficiency in the financial analysis, financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting
  • Adept at regulatory knowledge (GAAP, IND AS etc.)
  • Experience in a senior financial-management role, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies.
  • Significant experience in accounting & finance, Legal & Statutory compliance, and reporting.
  • Ability to present numerical data effectively and interpret complex written information.
  • Should be adept in using SAP.
  • Should be responsible for managing daily MIS-PNL/Cash flow.
  • Excellent leadership and team building abilities with a focus on driving results and fostering a collaborative work culture.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully build collaborative business relationships.
