Diversifying into industrial and warehousing, the company has existing parks in South and West India and plans to establish large-scale industrial parks and warehouses throughout the country.
This opportunity invites individuals to be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of real estate development in the country. They are currently looking for a senior professional to take care of the project delivery. The individual would be handling the successful completion of all projects they will develop. The role incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end execution of warehouse construction in the most effective manner vis-a-vis Cost, Quality, Time and Safety. The goal is to deliver value for money warehouses that address the requirements of the occupier within the cost affordability of the business.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring delivery of boxes within stipulated timeline, cost and quality parameters
- Ensuring achievement of lowest cost structure in the industry for a given set of specifications
- Ensuring compliance to all statutory norms and regulations prevailing and committed to in the respective approvals availed.
- Maintaining good relationships with a wide network of contractors and vendors establishing a preferred team which will enable rapid scaling if need be.
- Client servicing vis-a-vis customization, snag resolution and maintenance in the DLP period ensuring a delightful experience during the teething phase of occupancy by the respective tenants.
- Hand holding and ensuring seamless transition from Projects to Maintenance team.
- Suggesting the management on innovative and actionable construction techniques that add value to the business.
- Management Information Reporting.

- Ability to innovate and re-imagine construction techniques that add value to the business and doesn’t compromise on the hallmark hygiene and quality parameters of the organisation.
- Understanding of the finer nuances of warehouse construction specifications and methodology
- Deep understanding of the various construction methodologies to enable competitive and efficient delivery.
- Wide network and connect with contractors & vendors working in the warehouse construction sector.
- Good knowledge of the contract types and terms in warehouse construction contracts
- Project planning skills using project management software would be an added advantage
- Should be able to coordinate with various departments internally as well as within client set-up and successfully deliver the box.
- Understand the nuances of a predominantly outsourced model of execution and hence ensure the interests and goals of all stakeholders are aligned with that of the organisation at large.
- To develop ideas in the execution process that will enable the organisation to be competitive and nimble to adapt to changing business needs from time to time and to enable mass customization of works vis-à-vis individual client requirements.
- Effective man-management supported by good coordination, communication & convincing skills.
Requirement
- Graduate in Civil Engineering.
- Must have gone through the entire cycle of construction of a warehouse box of a minimum 2 lakh square feet from start (contract award stage) to completion (handover to occupier).
- Extensive experience in construction of warehouses/ industrial/ PEB buildings.
- Positive can-do attitude – a go-getter.
- Zeal to learn and unlearn inappropriate practices.
