They have completed more than 1 million square feet of projects and additionally have more than 3 million square feet of projects in various phases of development.
They are currently looking for an experienced professional to head their finance team. This is a high-impact leadership role for a sharp, motivated individual with a strong background in corporate finance and business strategy. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth trajectory within the premium real estate market in Mumbai. This individual will be responsible for driving financial performance, leading strategic expansion efforts and mentoring a results-driven finance team to support the organisation’s long-term vision.
Requirements
Strategic Direction & Organisational Growth
- Shape and refine the broader business strategy by aligning near-term priorities with long-term ambitions to ensure sustainable value creation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to promote forward-looking initiatives, helping position the organisation as an innovative leader within its space.
Financial Oversight & Value Optimisation
- Lead comprehensive financial planning, performance analysis, and forecasting efforts across the enterprise, applying a metrics-based approach to decision-making.
- Prepare and present insightful financial models and strategic reports to support both internal deliberations and external communications.
- Evaluate high-impact investment opportunities through rigorous risk assessment and ensure alignment with overall organisational objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement & Capital Strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with financial stakeholders, articulating clear, strategic narratives through tailored presentations and updates.
- Direct key elements of fundraising and partnership processes, including due diligence, deal structuring, and stakeholder negotiations.
Market Development & Competitive Insight
- Drive geographic expansion strategies, ensuring thorough market assessments, regulatory compliance, and effective entry planning.
- Continuously review and enhance operational practices to boost efficiency and strengthen market positioning.
- Lead exploration into industry shifts and emerging trends to proactively identify growth opportunities and strategic pivots.
Leadership Development & Organisational Agility
- Mentor high-performance teams, encouraging a culture of accountability, creativity, and operational excellence.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, supporting transformation initiatives and long-term planning efforts.
- Steer efforts to improve organisational scalability and resilience, ensuring the business remains well-prepared for evolving challenges and opportunities.
Requirements
- Work experience of 15 years and above, in corporate finance, strategy at a Real Estate Developer, or Investment Management, with significant exposure to the real estate sector.
- Education at a top-tier university/college will be a plus.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Excellent Excel modelling skills, and ability to handle large data sets.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think creatively and support decisions analytically.
- Strong work ethic and discipline.
