The company is seeking a Materials Coordinator to assist the Promoter / Managing Director in technical and product decision-making related to finishing materials, including benchmarking and value engineering. The role will involve identifying, evaluating, documenting, and coordinating various finishing products and suppliers while ensuring that the design intent and quality standards are maintained. The position will also require close coordination across internal departments and stakeholders to support the effective selection and implementation of finishing materials across projects.
Responsibilities:
- Networking to develop new vendor base for products and materials.
- Technical assessment for various construction finishing products and due diligence to align with the design concepts.
- Identifying and shortlisting materials to present it for finalization with technical comparatives.
- Coordination with all stakeholders to align them with the design philosophy and requirement of the management.
Key Skills:
- Keen eye for detailing and identifying finishing products.
- Good at making technical comparatives.
- Good understanding drawings and detailing for interior works.
Qualification & Experience:
- B.E Civil or B. Arch or Degree in Interior Design
- 12 – 15 years of experience in handling finishing materials – Residential, Commercial and Hospitality Industry.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Keen Learner and adapt to understand innovative materials.
- Experience in material classifications for value proposition for various segments of projects.
- Experience in technical evaluation of various materials and vendors.
