They are currently looking for an experienced professional to head the company’s financial and strategic segment, with a focus on overseeing high-level financial strategies and guiding the leadership team in making key business decisions. This role demands strong expertise in real estate finance, strategic planning and a proven ability to enhance profitability across listed and non-listed companies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage detailed analysis on all aspects of complex real estate transactions, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Spearhead financial modelling & analysis to evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and other investment opportunities.
- Oversee all aspects of real estate transactions, including market trends, regulatory impacts, cost-benefit analyses and financial structuring.
- Provide strategic leadership to the finance team, driving efficiency and innovation in the company’s financial operations across multiple business units.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership on all aspects of financial management, contributing to the formulation and execution of the company’s long-term business strategy.
- Review and refine financial models for land parcels owned by group companies, and prepare comprehensive feasibility studies, ensuring long-term profitability and growth.
- Maintain and expand relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions, enhancing the company’s ability to secure funding and favourable terms for new projects.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, tax planning strategies, and legal considerations related to real estate transactions.
- Oversee the management of multi-functional teams involved in real estate operations, providing leadership on project development, approvals, and financial structuring.
- Engage with C-suite executives and external stakeholders on matters such as strategic initiatives, risk management, and capital allocation decisions.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of financial modelling, valuation, budgeting, and financial analysis, particularly in the context of real estate.
- Familiarity with real estate regulations, compliance issues, and legal considerations in the sector.
- Proven expertise in high-level strategy formulation & execution.
- Strong leadership in project planning & control, corporate finance, and overall strategic direction.
- Deep understanding of project feasibility analysis, financial structuring, and portfolio management.
- Expertise in capital raising strategies, and experience navigating complex negotiations with stakeholders.
- Proven track record in launching large-scale projects and managing sales strategies across multiple markets.
- Mastery in cash flow planning, P&L management and optimizing financial performance across divisions.
- Strong command over market analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and steering the company towards long-term financial sustainability.
- Visionary thinking with a demonstrated ability to lead company-wide financial and strategic initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
