This is an opportunity with one of India’s leading mall operators, who have made a significant milestone in the retail landscape. They have a presence in all key destinations of India and boast of a portfolio that stands at 10+ malls.

They are currently looking for a highly competent candidate with exceptional communication skills, strong business acumen, a stable employment history, and excellent analytical abilities. The ideal individual should be proficient in management information systems and ERP systems. This role involves strategizing, guiding, directing, executing, and evaluating HR policies, programs, and operations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and alignment with the organization’s mission and talent strategy, and overseeing all HR initiatives and systems within the mall.

Responsibilities:

HR Budgeting:

  • Collaborate with corporate HR to prepare HR & Admin budgets, monitor, report, and manage budgets for all HR and administrative functions.

Employee Engagement:

  • Design and execute initiatives to enhance employee engagement, fostering inclusivity and celebration. Achieve > 90% on the happiness index.
  • Recognize and incentivize outstanding performance through the organization’s Employee Reward Program.

Training & Development:

  • Allocate resources effectively for training initiatives, oversee the implementation of the training plan, and ensure the successful completion of all training programs.

Performance Management:

  • Implement performance management systems encompassing goal setting, performance tracking, feedback management, and timely completion/preparation of incentives and letters.

HR Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to labour regulations, supervise compliance of contracted manpower vendors, address any non-compliance issues, maintain updated monthly compliance records, file monthly compliances for all employees, and participate in periodic labour audits, maintaining compliance levels above 95%.

HR Processes:

  • Implement and cascade all HR processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the mall, ensuring 100% compliance with SOPs and HR policies.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI):

  • Meet diversity targets within the mall, conduct training and engagement activities to promote inclusion.
  • Utilize change management skills to facilitate positive acceptance of all DEI initiatives implemented.

HR Branding:

  • Promote the company’s culture, values, and employer brand internally and externally.
  • Engage in the organization’s branding efforts on social media and other platforms.
  • Develop internal branding initiatives that align employees with the company’s mission, vision, and values, fostering a sense of pride and belonging.
