This opportunity is with one of the largest design and architecture companies in India, having a three decade long legacy in the industry. The company has executed master planned developments for several fortune 500 companies, catering to an array to an array of verticals within Architecture, Interior Design and Smart Building Solutions across domains like high density residential, corporate and commercial spaces, hospitality, industrial, retail and education.

They are currently looking for an experienced professional to lead their HR department. The role is both strategic and operational. The individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of talent acquisition, employee engagement and relations, including conducting interviews, managing events, addressing grievances and managing HR operations such as payroll, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion while leading corporate social responsibility efforts.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition:

  • Create short and long terms talent acquisition strategy and collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team and vendors to fulfill hiring needs.
  • Work with business leaders and stakeholders to understand hiring requirements.
  • Participate in technical interviews and assist in selecting suitable candidates.
  • Conduct HR interviews to assess cultural fit.
  • Drive internal movements, promotions, and role changes.

Employee Engagement and Relations:

  • Manage and measure employee engagement through organizing events and experiences.
  • Handle employee exit formalities, transfers, and resource sharing.
  • Address employee grievances and manage HR rounds.
  • Enhance existing leave policies ensuring work-life balance and statutory compliance.
  • Ideate and lead town-hall meetings, open houses, and forums on HR and business agenda.

Rewards and Recognition:

  • Implement and maintain rewards programs.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to enhance existing R&R policies.
  • Identify, assess and manage key talent through talent review and succession planning.

Training:

  • Lead training efforts and identify skill gaps in the workforce.
  • Manage supervisory and leadership development programs.

Performance Management System:

  • Implement performance management processes effectively.
  • Manage calibration, merit, and bonus payments.
  • Facilitate feedback sessions and address underperformance issues.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Administer merit increases, promotions, and market adjustments.
  • Provide analytical support for pay decisions.
  • Manage employee compensation and benefit policies.

Induction and Orientation Program:

  • Ensure effective implementation of new employee orientation programs.
  • Support team in developing on-boarding plans.
  • Measure effectiveness of induction process and provide necessary support.

HR Operations:

  • Manage payroll.
  • Act as a single point of contact for policy-related issues.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and CSR:

  • Foster diversity and create inclusive work culture.
  • Lead CSR efforts, identify and collaborate with NGOs for approved projects.
