This opportunity is with a company that has over three decades of expertise in interior fit-out solutions, MEP, GC, and D&B services. Operating across various sectors such as commercial, retail, data centres, and hospitality, the company has successfully delivered 50+ projects, covering over 25 million square feet area and has a presence in multiple cities across India.

They are currently looking for an experienced Project Management individual to lead their Projects. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution and delivery of projects nationwide, ensuring that all operations are executed efficiently, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires extensive experience in managing large-scale, high-profile projects, particularly for Fortune 100 corporate clients.

Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership & Management:

  • Lead and manage multiple large-scale corporate projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and implement strategic project plans, processes, and policies to streamline operations across all sites.
  • Drive accountability and ownership among project teams to ensure the highest standards of project delivery.

2. Team Building & Leadership:

  • Build, mentor, and lead a strong national team of project managers, engineers, and site managers.
  • Create and sustain a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence across all teams.
  • Implement performance management processes to drive results and reward high performance.
  • Training and skill development for the existing as well as for the new hires
  • Appoint and develop the regional project directors.

3. Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for corporate clients, ensuring strong relationships are built and maintained.
  • Proactively manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction by delivering projects on time and to high standards.
  • Address and resolve any project escalations promptly to avoid client dissatisfaction.

4. Risk & Issue Management:

  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure projects run smoothly.
  • Oversee conflict resolution processes and ensure any disputes are settled amicably and, in the client’s, best interests.
  • Implement systems to monitor potential project risks and mitigate cost escalations.

5. Budgeting & Financial Oversight:

  • Oversee project budgets, cost management, and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure all projects are completed within financial targets and optimise the allocation of resources to maintain profitability.
  • Review and approve major project expenditures and ensure strict cost control.

6. Quality Assurance & Compliance:

  • Establish and enforce quality control protocols to ensure all work meets corporate standards and client expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements across project sites
  • Conduct project reviews and audits to maintain high-quality standards and continuous improvement.

7. Innovation & Process Improvement:

  • Foster innovation and adopt new project management technologies and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
  • Continuously assess project delivery processes and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Drive the adoption of sustainable construction practices aligned with zero-carbon or net-zero goals, where applicable.

8. Reporting & Performance Tracking:

  • Provide detailed and accurate reporting to senior leadership on project performance, including timelines, financials, risk management, and client feedback.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success and track performance regularly.

Requirements

  • Experience in project management, particularly in large-scale corporate interiors, infrastructure, or construction projects for Fortune 100 clients.
  • Proven track record of leading national-level teams and managing multi-million- dollar projects.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications preferred.
