They are currently seeking a visionary Strategic Director to join their ‘Project Management’ leadership team. This role is pivotal in driving the growth and expansion of our business PAN India, focusing on innovative and forward-thinking strategies that account for market differentials in the ‘Project management’ landscape. The ideal candidate will embody and promote core values and vision of the company, fostering a culture of excellence and driving business growth through the creation and implementation of comprehensive growth plans.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Join the ‘Project Management’ India leadership team to set and drive growth strategies. Influence the company culture to propel business growth.
  • Business Development: Create and implement business growth plans. Identify and convert new opportunities across sectors, including established and emerging markets. Drive the sales of technology & sustainability solutions.
  • Client Relationships: Establish strong, lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs and constraints. Retain and expand client base through exceptional service and engagement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with leaders within project management and across other business lines to nurture projects and accounts. Promote greater collaboration to leverage market opportunities for revenue generation.
  • Market Intelligence: Partner with Sector Heads and Regional Account Leads for market intelligence and pursuit generation. Manage the top-line growth for project management India, ensuring year-over-year growth.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, inspire, and manage the team, encouraging contribution and recognizing improvement opportunities. Support and lead key client interactions and pitches.

Requirements

  • A degree in a design or construction-related discipline.
  • At least 15 years of experience in sales, design, construction, and project management, particularly in leading large and upscale projects within the local geography and the wider Asia Pacific market.
  • Proven track record in business development and in providing design and technical services for international operators and brands.
  • Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Strong understanding of the project development cycle, including business model/fee matrix, pricing, feasibilities, design management, project management, cost management, and construction.
  • Resilience, a strong-willed attitude, and a team-centric, strategic mindset.
