They are currently looking for an experienced professional to lead their Design and Architecture team in Bangalore. The individual will be responsible for quality of design, interdepartmental communication, project management and deliverables, site execution and implementation of processes. The candidate must possess knowledge about land use, financial, legal and planning issues to manage the external professional firms for planning, designing and construction.
Responsibilities
Quality of Design
- Work closely with top leadership to create the product concept and design brief.
- Be cognizant of industry highlights, global standards and best practices. Strive to adopt the same in the company’s projects.
- Contribute towards value additions in space planning and design.
- Stay apprised of the specifications of the projects and ensure timely decision making at every stage.
Interdepartmental Communication
- Anchor close coordination among all departments and the external consultants working on the project.
- Review drawings facilitate information flow between various teams.
- Maintain close communication and enable the team to be aligned to the project requirement at all times.
Deliverables to Project Management at all sites
- Perform design reviews, evaluate detailed design documents and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Evaluate performance of consultants to ensure adherence to the company’s quality standards and drive timely execution of all deliverables.
Site Execution
- Drive the team towards timely execution, audit and course correction as required.
- Inspect project execution at sites from time to time and validate adherence to the designs.
- Work with all stakeholders to resolve any bottlenecks at sites.
Process Implementation
- To foster an environment to maximize team performance and development.
- Provided guidance and direction to the team on process mapping and implementation.
Requirement

- hold a B. Arch degree.
