The Company is seeking a Senior Analyst to play a pivotal role in evaluating and analyzing real estate investment opportunities in India. This position involves developing robust financial models, assessing deal feasibility, and providing critical market insights to support investment strategies across major cities in India.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze different acquisition opportunities, develop models for various deals and update them during the life cycle of the project.
- Preparation of Investment Committee memos for new acquisitions.
- Analyzing feasibility of different opportunities by interacting with various Internal stake holders.
- Provide intelligence on new legislation/acts/bills, market supply-demand data and historical underwriting parameters.
- Undertake site visits, understand catchment area, and draw comparatives for the project.
- Scenario Analysis of different strategies.
- Stress testing/ sensitivity analysis of variables to calculate impact on bottom-line of project.
- Assisting the team in financial assumptions and calculations of different ratios/parameters.
- Conduct primary & secondary market research as needed.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate /MBA/CFA/CA.
- 3+ years of experience
- Ability to evaluate opportunities, underwrite transactions and validate all assumptions.
- Strong financial and analytical skills.
- Sound understanding of financial, legal & tax structuring.
- Sound understanding of real estate deal parameters.
- Should be proficient in excel modelling (knowledge of real estate valuation software’s would be a plus).
- Willingness to take up additional responsibilities in other areas like equity capital market & asset management.
- Should be a team player and willing to travel to evaluate deals.
